Open Golf 2006 Day 1
Why am I bothering about the Open Golf championship? because me and the boys are coming up to Liverpool and have got tickets for the last day on Sunday. Not that we are probably going to seee very much but then it's the atmosphere that counts. That and the promise of free pro lessons for children! Do I want the boys to get into golf? Absolutely 100% gold -plated definitively----"yes".
So Day 1 dawns and what does the British weather do? Thunder and lightning! I hope Hoylake doesn't turn into the Glastonbury of golf.
My tips for the top? Colin Montgomerie / Ben Curtis / Darren Clarke / David Duval. I will keep track of these 4 as they progress up the leaderboard.
